Jingdong, Ali Health, Pinduoduo and other 9 platform enterprises reported on compliance governance. Beijing, Shanghai, Zhejiang, Guangdong, Sichuan and other 5 provinces (municipalities) Drug Administration reported on the regulatory situation.
The meeting pointed out that in 2023, the major platform enterprises use big data technology, strengthen the qualification audit of the operators in the network, inspection and monitoring, timely disposal and cleaning of non-compliant operators and commodity information, and the safety situation of medical device online sales is positively favorable.
The meeting requested that drug regulatory departments at all levels should deepen the implementation of local supervision responsibility, and platform enterprises should continuously consolidate the platform management responsibility, strengthen the medical device network sales compliance governance efforts, and effectively protect the public safety of medical devices.
