The two sides reviewed the long-standing and good cooperative relationship between China’s drug regulatory authorities and WHO, and exchanged views on the cooperation between the State Drug Administration and WHO in the areas of anti-epidemic cooperation, traditional medicines, biologics and chemical medicines. Martin Taylor highly affirmed China’s drug regulatory work, cooperation with WHO and the important role played by China in the regulation of traditional medicines. Zhao Junning said that he would actively promote cooperation with WHO in capacity building, improving regulatory system and regulation of traditional medicines.
The relevant responsible comrades of the Department of Science and Technology, Department of Drug Registration and Department of Drug Regulation attended the meeting.
